Homeowners in Ashton-on-Ribble and Tulketh are being warned to be extra vigilant after a series of break-ins.
AdvertisementPreston Police have stepped up patrols in the area following the burglaries.
All of them took place in the early hours of Friday and Saturday morning and police say homes with insecure doors and windows have been targeted.
PCSO Stephen Connolly said they believed the burglaries may be linked to reports of individuals attempting to purchase items in the city centre using several contactless bank cards.
