A time-lapse video shows how the new social spaces at Preston’s university are taking shape.
Between the Harrington and Greenbank builings along with the Foster building are seeing £8million worth of redevelopment.
The footage shows how the work has been progressing with the two university buildings off Adelphi Street now linked by the structure.
Taking 150 tonnes of steel the spaces, designed in conjunction with the University of Central Lancashire’s Students’ Union, the social spaces are aimed to be informal teaching areas and places for the students to relax.
Social spaces are part of the £200million UCLan masterplan with huge new buildings going up around the Adelphi roundabout.
