Radio 1’s Big Weekend is now a DECADE ago, I’ve put that in caps because for me it feels a heck of a long time, since the likes of Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and Calvin Harris came to do their thing in the city.
Alongside the Big Weekend itself there were a host of fringe events, special club nights and people swearing blind they’d seen Beth Ditto from Gossip in Subway getting the meal deal.
