Firefighters worked to deal with an incident after a taxi caught fire early this morning (May 24).
One appliance attended the scene in New Hall Lane at around 1.05am.
Crews arrived at the scene to find a taxi on fire on the road and used a hose reel to extinguish it.
Nobody was hurt as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

A statement from Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said: “One fire engine from Preston attended a fire involving a taxi on New Hall Lane, Preston.
“When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the taxi on fire on the road and they used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no injuries reported.”
