Fire crews were called to a car fire at a petrol station this afternoon (May 27).
Two appliances from Preston and one from Penwortham attended the scene at the Shell garage in New Hall Lane near Brockholes Brow.
The cause of the fire has been confirmed as an electrical fault.

The fire crews from Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service managed to stop the fire from spreading into the shop or elsewhere in the petrol station.
There were no casualties as a result of the incident.
