Hundreds of runners got themselves pelted with powder during a colour fun run at the UCLan Sports Arena.
More than 500 people ran the 5k route in the University of Central Lancashire’s third annual Colour Fun run.
UCLan sports motivator Tom Ascroft said: “Once again we’re delighted with how many people came along to enjoy the run and raise money at the same time. The UCLan Colour Fun run attracts people of all abilities and ages so it really is something that all the community can take part in. This year, our youngest competitor was only three-years-old and our oldest was in fact my grandma who will turn 80 next month.
“I want to say a massive thank you to all of the staff, volunteers, local groups and business involved in making it such a success. To raise so much money for a local charity and promote active lifestyles at the same time is fantastic and we’re already looking forward to next year.”
Money raised at the event goes to Rock FM’s Cash 4 Kids appeal with more than £1,000 raised by runners.

Cash 4 Kids charity manager Nikki Thompson said: “It was an absolutely amazing event and you couldn’t help but have a huge smile on your face by being part of it. It was lovely to see such a wide range of ages and abilities taking part – a truly wonderful community event that we are delighted to be involved with.
“We’d like to say a huge thank you to the team at UCLan Sports Arena for all their hard work and to everyone who took part. The money raised will make a real difference to children and young people right here in Preston and Lancashire and we cannot wait for next year.”
