A motorcyclist is being treated in hospital following a crash on a busy rush-hour route to the south of Preston.
The crash, involving a car and a motorbike, took place on the A582 close to the Booths roundabout.
The incident took place around 5.30pm on Wednesday (31 May).
An adult male rider was taken to hospital with a broken leg and Preston Police closed the road heading out of the city centre in Penwortham for two and a half hours.
Police said the motorbiker’s injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
