Bamber Bridge pub staff hurt during group attack

A pub in Bamber Bridge has been taped off following an assault on two people.

The Hospital Inn in Brindle Road was being closed up by two members of staff around 11.55pm on Bank Holiday Monday (29 May).

The man and a woman were approached by a group of men.

Preston Police say the group assaulted the pair causing minor injuries before taking the woman’s purse containing £100 cash. The men then made off from the scene.
