Three men have been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries in Ashton-on-Ribble.

Preston Police located the men at an address in Church Street in Preston city centre during Sunday afternoon.

A warning had been issued to residents in the Ashton and Tulketh areas following the incidents on Friday and Saturday evening – where bank card were taken.

Bank cards were fraudulently used in the city centre following the burglaries.

Sergeant West of Preston Police said: “We’re now working closely with Preston CID in completing further enquiries in relation to these arrests.”
