Vandals have wrecked a bin and recycling unit in one of Preston’s historic parks.
The bin and recycling point as you head into Avenham Park from Ribblesdale Place has been removed by Preston City Council.
Costing hundreds of pounds the bin is due to be replaced.
A council spokeswoman said: “The bin was removed after being damaged beyond repair from vandalism.
“A new bin is being ordered and will be installed when possible, as we are aware that is still needed.”
