Frog was born in Fulwood and attended Broughton High School and Preston College.
At 18 she went to Cambridge University before embarking on her career as a comedian and writer.
Frog said: “The story is really about a troublesome mother/daughter relationship and how those two women reconcile themselves to the lives they have had and the lives they want.
“It’s a comedy but poignant too.
Frog spoke about how coming from the North of the UK has inspired her to fulfill her career as a comedian and writer.
She continued: “The Northern sense of humour is key.
“It can be dry and warm, unlike Preston which is often cold and wet!”
