Ribble Vets is the veterinary practice that has recently opened on the site of the former police station.
The vets has opened the new branch on Liverpool Road since gaining funding from NatWest to help support its development scheme.
The practice supplies veterinary care for companion and farm animal, along with equine services, and it has been running for over 80 years.
Ribble Vets currently operates three surgeries, including in Penwortham, Longton and Wesham.
They have a team of 15 veterinary surgeons who work alongside veterinary nurses and administrative staff.
The new facility, which opened earlier this winter, is helping to support Ribble Vets with their commitment to animals and providing high quality care.
Nicky Birch, Practice Manager at Ribble Vets, told Business Lancashire: “Our new purpose built facility is an exciting addition to Ribble Vets in the heart of the Penwortham community.
“We hope to expand the service provision on offer and will also have room to develop the business as needed.
“We have been working with NatWest for more than 20 years and have a good relationship with the team.
“They understand our business goals and support us with funding solutions that fit our needs.”
