New Hall Lane crash sees two people injured

Police closed New Hall Lane on Thursday (6 April) night following a crash involving two cars.

Around 10.40pm emergency services were called to the incident near the Johnsons dry cleaning as the road approaches Brockholes Brow.

A Landrover Discovery and a black Vauxhall Vectra were involved and two people were injured.

A police spokeswoman said one person was bleeding from their nose and another person suffered whiplash.

The road was closed for around two hours while the vehicles were recovered.
