Morrisons is preparing to open its first Daily store – a relaunch of its smaller local stores – in Fulwood.
The supermarket chain is branching back into the convenience market and has taken on the former Spar store in Garstang Road.
Texaco remains the garage but the shop will see its third reincarnation in the space of six months.
Morrisons are to retain the 24-hour opening hours of the former Spar shop.
It will reopen to the public for more than fuel on Thursday (13 April).
The shop now has extensive green cladding to the outside and a Morrisons Daily logo, in a refit which has taken just over a week to complete.
Morrisons Daily is the second attempt at the small-store market after the failed M Local brand.
