Police are growing increasingly concerned about about a missing 16-year-old boy.

Joshua Stock, from Gateshead, was last seen at around 6.40pm on Tuesday (April 25) at an address on Elswick Road in Preston.

A Lancashire Police spokeswoman said: “We are worried about Joshua’s welfare and would appeal to anybody who knows where he is, or thinks they may have seen him, to contact us as soon as possible.

“Similarly we would urge Joshua himself, if he sees this appeal, to get in touch let us know he is safe.”

Joshua is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build, with hair which is short, blond and curly.
