Preston Police has warned the public to expect long delays following a road traffic collision in Preston this morning (April 18).
The incident occurred at the junction where New Hall Lane meets Blackpool Road near the Hesketh Arms pub.
Witnesses have reported that Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service are in attendance and cutting equipment is being used.

Preston Bus has warned that the number 16 service is likely to experience significant delays as a result of the incident.
A statement from Preston Police said: “We were called around 9.10am following reports of a collision at the junction of Blackpool Road and New Hall Lane.
“A minibus and another vehicle had been involved in a collision.
“Emergency services attended and are currently at the scene.”
A statement from Lancashire Fire & Rescue said: “A collision between a car and a minibus left a man trapped in the car.
“Two fire engines and crews, from Preston and Penwortham, were assigned to the incident and firefighters used hydraulic equipment to rescue the casualty, who was attended to by paramedics.”
