Preston’s annual eggxtravaganza looks like it will take place in dry conditions.

In a tradition dating back to Victorian times there’s expected to be thousands of Prestonians enjoying the hourly egg rolls and stalls.
The Met Office has Easter Monday (17 April) dawning overcast and remaining so throughout the morning until lunchtime.

At 1pm there’s expected to be a light shower as the sun also starts to appear – with sunny and cloudy conditions throughout the afternoon.

There will be a chill in the air though, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 10 degrees although it will feel like eight degrees.
Egg rolling begins at 11am and takes place on the hour until 4pm.
