Preston Bus has threatened to withdraw offers for kids after claims of serious vandalism on one of its services.
AdvertisementA statement on their website says two boys and two girls used their £1.20 child tickets to board the 35 bus service at Friargate.
During the journey, they say the passengers set fire to five seats and graffiti was left on parts of the bus.
Preston Bus also state that this follows a run of anti-social behaviour on the bus services while the special offer has been active.

A Preston Bus spokesperson said “It’s a real shame that once again, a minority of young people are spoiling things for others.
“We ran the special offer to make it easier for children to travel during their school holidays.
“If well received we intended to introduce a child day ticket permanently – but following this we’ll have to rethink if it’s worth the damage caused.”
CCTV footage will be used as evidence and passed to police and Preston Bus intend to invoice the parents for the costs of repairs and a replacement bus, which they say could run into thousands.
