Four giant Easter Eggs are to appear around Preston – but sadly they aren’t made of chocolate.
Designed around iconic Preston themes the eggs give the city the chance to win prizes.
Standing two metres high the eggs have been created and hand-painted by local artist Kerith Ogden.
Prestonians need to find the eggs at each city centre location and pose for a picture and post it so social media with the hashtag #PrestonEgg
Cabinet member for leisure and culture councillor Peter Kelly said: “I’ve had a sneaky look at these giant eggs and they’re beautiful.
“It will be a great family activity in the city centre, so get involved and try to solve the clues. I can assure you it’ll be worth it!”
The four eggs will stand together for the first time at the Egg Rolling on Easter Monday at Avenham and Miller Park.
