A newsagents in Fulwood has been targeted by an armed raider for the second time in six months.
Gibson’s Wine and Food was entered by a man wielding a large kitchen knife on Monday night.
Around 8.35pm on Monday (24 April) the man entered the shop in Lansdown Hill.
Money was demanded from the member of staff who was inside the store at the time.
Cash was taken from the till before the offender ran off towards Hillcroft.
PC Richard Shires of Preston CID said: “This must have been extremely frightening for the lone member of staff who was working in the store at the time and thankfully she wasn’t injured during the incident
“If anyone recognises the man pictured, was in the area at the time of the robbery or has any information that could assist with our on-going enquiries I would urge them to contact us.”
