Deputy centre manager for Deepdale Catherine Holmes said: “We are delighted to be hosting our first dementia friendly shopping event on Monday 3 April. Our staff, security, facilities management and in store teams have all undergone training to become Dementia Friends to help create a safe and supportive environment for those affected by dementia.
“This event is the first in a series to help support local people with dementia and is part of our investment in the local community to create a place that people prefer.”
