Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service were called to three separate incidents within the space of half an hour around Deepdale last night.
The first incident was in Hawkhurst Road at around 4.54am with two crews attending.
They found a car on fire that had spread to nearby garages.
At 5.08am, crews from Penwortham and Leyland attended a fire involving three waste bins in a compound at an address in Falcon Street.
Hose reels were used to extinguish the fire with the bins and compound destroyed.
Then at 5.10am crews from Bamber Bridge and Fulwood attended a fire at a shop on Castleton Road.

The incident started at the wooden racking at the front of the shop before spreading to the ground floor of the building.
Crews were at the scene for approximately an hour.
Police are investigating the causes of the incidents.
