A female carer who scammed a pensioner out of hundreds of thousands of pounds has been ordered to pay back the cash.
Toni Chippendale, of Whitby Avenue, Ingol, is serving six years in prison after pleading guilty to theft and fraud.
She was caring for 87-year-old Geoffrey Cooke and was withdrawing large sums of money from his bank account and was found to have been overcharging Mr Cooke for her services.
Mr Cooke died in 2015 before Chippendale admitted her guilt.
Following the fraudulent carer’s sentencing a timetable was set for a proceeds of crime confiscation by Lancashire Police’s financial investigation team.
