Beans on Toast comes to Preston next month

Beans on Toast opens his UK tour in Preston next month.

The singer-songwriter, real name Jay McAllister, will perform at The Ferret on May 4 as part of his ‘Down the Pub’ tour.

Jay, speaking ahead of the show, said: “It’s an off the beaten track tour of boozers around the UK.

“I had a song on my latest album called Down The Pub and the idea came out of that, and the fact that I love pubs.

“Some songs, some stories and a few beers. We’ll be tackling a whole range of subjects inspired by this crazy world that we live in.

“I do really like playing Preston, always a fun time. The only story that springs to mind involves a girl knocking out a security guard though, so it’s probably not the best example of Preston!”

Tickets for the show cost £10 and are available from here.
