Arson attack sees car on fire in Deepdale

Police have been asked to investigate a suspected arson attack on a car in Deepdale.


Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Poynter Street, off Ribbleton Lane, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

They found a car on fire at the roadside and the crew from Preston fire station put out the blaze.

No one was hurt in the fire which took place around 5.26am on Saturday (1 April).

Preston Police have been told by firefighters the fire, which involved a Corsa, is believed to have been started deliberately.
