A spokeswoman for the city council: “When we asked for your help, you delivered. Thanks to the people of Preston who commented on and shared our CCTV clip of two males dumping rubbish from a van.”

CCTV footage showed the two men piling unwanted furniture and other items at Fishwick Bottoms during Monday 27 February.
