Family members have paid tribute to a biker who died in a crash on the outskirts of Preston.
John Marsden, 51, was riding in Cumeragh Lane near Grimsargh when the crash happened.
The Longridge man died at the scene after he collided with a white Ford Transit van.
His family have released a statement.
They said: “We wish to express our deep sorrow following the tragic death of a dearly loved husband, father, son, brother and uncle.
“John will be sadly missed by so many. He was one of life’s truly lovely guys. He was a top bloke, always had a smile. A close friend summed up John with these words
Preston Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the crash which happened on Friday 10 March at 3.25pm.
Sergeant Claire Pearson from the Road Policing Team said: “A man unfortunately died as a result of this tragic incident and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this incredibly sad and difficult time.
“If you saw anything during or in the lead up to this collision, please make contact with us as it will no doubt assist us with our investigation.”
