Last year’s event saw 2,500 people visit the event.
Jacky Hohol who organises The Big Lunch said this year’s event was to be expanded.
She said: “For the Big Lunch we’ve attracted lottery funding to add an It’s A Knockout game.
“The aim is to get local communities together over lunch and we also add lots of free local entertainment, funfairs and stalls to provide a great family day out.”

The knockout game will see teams of ten compete to take on the inflatable challenges.
Each team must raise £350 of sponsorship to take part and the money goes to support The Space Centre, Cash for Kids, St John’s Ambulance and Armed Forces Group Preston.
The Big Lunch takes place on Sunday 4 June from 11am to 4pm.
