Stolen BMW and Mini recovered in Preston by police

A number of stolen cars have been recovered in Preston during a police operation.

During the early hours of Sunday morning Lancashire Police pursued a driver who had taken a Mini from Lytham St Annes.

The car was recovered in Ashton-on-Ribble around 7.15am.

Two hours later and the police blocked off Chatsworth Street in Fishwick as they recovered a stolen BMW Z4 – which was also taken from Lytham St Annes.

A third car was targeted overnight in Ribbleton, a Corsa, which has its number plate registration SA14 YHC taken. Anyone with information should call 101 quoting log 260.
