A gourmet hot dog and doughnut restaurant is opening in Preston city centre.

Creating seven new jobs the owners of the restaurant are keeping quiet over where it will be located.

The german sausages are to have toppings including a smokey joeys which comes with pulled pork, BBQ source and chilli cheese.

A statement from the owners said: “This venture is brought to you by a team already established as forerunners in bringing new ideas to Preston. We are delighted to be the first eatery of its kind in the city.”

As well as hot dogs the restaurant will serve doughnuts, smothered in sauce, and paired with ice cream.

Dogs n Doughnuts is due to open in mid-April.
