‘Preston man’ wanted after car theft using stolen cheque

West Yorkshire Police are looking for a man who claimed to be from Preston after a car theft in Bradford.

The suspect is believed to have attended an address on December 12 and agreed to buy a grey Volkswagen Golf.

He drove away from the address but it later transpired that payment was made using a stolen cheque.

The suspect had given an address in Preston but enquiries have failed to locate him.

He is described as being about 30-years-old and around 5ft 7 tall.

He had freckles to his face, tattoos on his neck and his right hand and small feet.

Anyone who recognises this man is asked to contact the Bradford South Area Neighbourhood Team on 101, quoting crime reference 13170002973.
