A Preston man who failed to answer bail in relation to drugs offences has gone on the run.

Stephen McDonald of Holme Slack, Ribbleton was due to answer bail in February.

The 51-year-old failed to do so and is now wanted by police.

He had been arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences.

He is described as white, with thinning hair and speaks with a strong Liverpool accent.

He is thought to have been living with relatives in the Mistley and Manningtree areas of Essex.

DS Jerry Sturgess of Preston Police said: “We are actively trying to trace Mr McDonald after he failed to answer his bail in relation to drugs supply offences. We believe that he was living with relatives in the Essex area and I would urge anyone who knows of his whereabouts or has any other information that could help with our enquiries to come forward.”

Anyone with information should contact police on 101. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be called anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at
