International students rated the university in the survey which is open to all students from outside the UK studying at participating institutions.
The score has placed UCLan in sixth position in the table among other modern universities, and it has been ranked top in the country for its ‘fair and transparent assessment of work’. ‘explanation of marking criteria’ and satisfaction with assignment feedback’.

The survey is divided up into themes of arrival, learning, living, learning support and overall satisfaction.
UCLan also scored highly for ‘course academic content’ with a 91.7 per cent satisfaction rating and a score of 91.5 per cent for the ‘quality of lectures’.
In terms of accommodation the university came second in the country and was ranked fifth overall for student advisory services.
Deputy vice-chancellor (corporate and international strategy) Liz Bromley said: “UCLan’s international students are very much part of the fabric of the University community and it’s fantastic to see that 91% of our international students are so very happy with their experience at UCLan.
“More than 44,000 international students studying in the UK took part in the International Student Barometer survey, which is well respected and taken seriously by potential applicants so it’s absolutely brilliant to see UCLan do so well.”

The online International Student Barometer survey is conducted by I-Graduate and is open to all international students at the University.
It is conducted in the UK and in other countries around the world, helping to set a global bench mark for international student experience.
