Police issue appeal to trace wanted Romanian man with links to Preston

A man who is charged in connection with carrying a knife in public has failed to attend court.


Petrica Ghita, from Romania, was due to attend Preston Magistrates’ Court in May last year.

Lancashire Police have released information following a warrant being issued by the court.

Ghita is alleged to have possessed a blade in a public place during an incident in January last year.

The 33-year-old, who is 5’9″, has links to the Preston area.
