Police investigating death of a toddler from Lostock Hall

The toddler died at Royal Preston Hospital

A 19-month-old girl has died in hospital and three people arrested in connection with her death.

Preston Police say the death of the girl, from Lostock Hall, is being treated as suspicious.

Police were called by the ambulance service to an address in Lostock Hall at 9.30am on Thursday (23 March).

The toddler was being treated at the address and was taken to hospital where she later died.

A post mortem examination is being carried out to establish the cause of death.

Three people, a woman aged 18 and two men aged 18 and 19, from Lostock Hall have been arrested on suspicion of murder and have now been released on bail.
