Police catch motorist driving over 130mph on M6

Police caught a driver travelling at “silly speeds” on the motorway early yesterday morning (March 26).


A motorist was picked up by Lancashire Road Police at approximately 00.34am travelling at 137mph on the M6 near Charnock Richard.

Lancashire Road Police said on Twitter: “Vehicle clocked M6 Charnock Richard at silly speeds.
