Motorcyclist taken to hospital after Lostock Hall crash

The motorbike on the side of the road in Lostock Hall

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a crash in Lostock Hall on Wednesday evening.

Preston Police closed part of Leyland Road, near Fir Trees Avenue, during the incident.

A car and a motorbike were involved at around 7.15pm on Wednesday (22 March).

The rider, an 18-year-old man, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital.

Police said he had injuries to his chest which are not thought to be serious.

The crash happened close to the scene of a fatal crash involving a motorbike in December last year.
