A Preston garage shop is to close and reopen for the third time in six months.

Spar in Garstang Road, Fulwood, only opened in late October after a major refit.

Now signs have gone up announcing it is to become a Morrisons Daily.

Owners of the site, Rontec, replaced the Co-Op with a Spar and applied and were successful in winning a 24-hour licence for the site.

The Spar is due to close on Sunday, although petrol can still be purchased at the garage, for around a week while Morrisons fit out the store.

Morrisons Daily is its range of convenience stores which are the second generation of its failed M Local stores.
