Garage in Fulwood badly damaged in fire

A lunchtime fire caused severe damage to a garage in Fulwood on Thursday lunchtime.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service is investigating the cause of the blaze in York Avenue.

Crews from Preston and Fulwood attended the fire which engulfed the single storey building.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation after two firefighters had to use breathing apparatus while treating the fire.

Crews were on the scene for more than an hour during the incident on Thursday (16 March).
