Driver ends up in a field after missing dead end in Penwortham

A driver had a lucky escape after failing to realise a road was a dead end.
Lancashire Police were called to the site of the old gasworks in Penwortham on Friday night.
Around 7pm the Nissan GTR was recovered after going through a fence.
Police said the driver ‘didn’t see the dead end’ and are now helping police with enquiries.
