A service introduced for commuters between Fulwood and Preston city centre now has a service going the other way.

The number five was introduced with a direct service between the North East Preston Employment area at Oliver’s Place and Pittman Way at Asda to the city centre.

Departing from Stand 22 at the Bus Station it will go via Lancaster Road, Deepdale Road, Watling Street Road and then Eastway. Once finished at Eastway it will return to the city centre ging via Anderton’s Way to the Anderton Arms.

Buses are to depart the Bus Station at 6.32am, 6.52am and then every 15 minutes until 8.52am.

Regular fares are to be charged on the number 5 service and Preston bus Easi passes are accepted.
