A trio who have spent the last three years putting on events and re-branding a city bar are moving to a rival.

Nick Carter, Ryan ‘Soulboy’ Peake and ‘Soulseeker’ Hiran Panchal who operate Freedom of Creation have announced they are leaving Baluga.

Since starting in 2014 they have overseen a major revamp of the bar, launching the takeaway Baluga Kitchen and putting on many music nights.

The trio are moving to Glovers bar in Glovers Court to take on promoting the bar.

Creative director Hiran said: “We wish all the best to Gary, Tom and the whole team at Baluga for the future, and hope that they can continue where we left off.

“None of the new marketing material has been released yet, so nobody knows what we’re up to and Nick and Ryan have been working with the current owners to make a few changes that look and sound pretty exciting.”

The trio officially move over in April to start at Glovers.
