Arrests made after police chase near Capitol Centre

Two men have been arrested after a police pursuit in Walton-le-Dale.
Regulars at the Yew Tree pub saw police bring a white van to a halt in London Road.
Preston Police chased the white van near the Capitol Centre at around 10.20pm on Wednesday (1 March).
The police stopped the van and two men made off from the vehicle.

The police helicopter was called out and the two men were later detained by officers.
An 18-year-old man from Accrington was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and a 19-year-old man from Accrington was arrested on suspicion of theft. Both are currently in custody.
