Winckley Square’s restoration has been recognised with a signature Preston dish at a city restaurant.

Solita, which operates in what used to be The Olive Press in Winckley Square, has brought in a burger themed around the square.

With a 14-inch brioche bun it houses 1.5kilos of chuck steak patty.

This bun is filled with romaine lettuce, classic burger cheese, beef tomatos, thousand island sauce, spanish onions and 12 slices of bacon.

Solita recommend it is shared between six people and don’t advise it being done as a solo challenge – although you could take it on.
