A Preston-based brewery,  is currently in the process of a major expansion.

Beer Brothers specialises in producing its individual ‘AltBier’, an original variety of beer, created by founders of the company Phill Leyland and David Reece.

The pair set up Preston’s premier brewery up in 2015 and the business has gone from strength to strength since then.

Beer Brothers supplies bottled and cask ales to local bars and outlets, including Guild Ale House in Preston City Centre, Bunbury’s of Bolton, Market Ale House in Leyland, Lostock Halls’ St Gerard’s Pirochial Centre and The Anchor, and New Longton Sports and Social Club.

In January 2017 an investor saw the potential in the business and Beer Brothers began to upscale.

Beers Brothers said: “We are currently waiting for our bespoke 10bbl full sized kit to be delivered and expect to be up and running by June of this year.

“As part of the expansion is a ‘new look’ for the brand in which we would like the help of the Preston public.

“We are running a competition to rename the current beers in our range and need your suggestions.

“If your suggestion is picked you win a free case of beer!”

All entries for the competition can be posted on the Beer Brothers Facebook Page and you can visit them on their online website.
