A budding group of Preston authors have released a second e-book of their works after scoring a Christmas success.
AdvertisementTitled Love, Literally the anthology is a series of short stories.
Preston-based author Janice Cumberlidge who helps co-ordinate the writing group said: “We had more than 500 downloads of our Christmas book and it went to the top of the Amazon Kindle charts in the Anthologies category, so we were over the moon with that.
“So much so we decided to start on our next one right away.
“We’ve just released Love, Literally, which is a collection of 40 short stories and poems, each on the theme of love.”
“Don’t expect this to be a soppy, romantic anthology, the authors have each put their own spin on what ‘love’ means to them, with wide-ranging themes. From first love and love until the end, to love in some quite unusual circumstances, this is a well-rounded book.”
