The Feature-Length Coffee House and Diner
A young entrepreneur is hoping a fundraising campaign will enable her to bring a unique coffee house and diner to Preston.
Jessica Carol intends to establish a movie themed restaurant, The Feature Length, in the city and has began a Kickstarter campaign to help set it up.
She hopes to raise a minimum of £20,000 in order to set up the business and is pledging for 20,000 people to donate £1 to reach her target.
The restaurant will be styled as a sophisticated and family-friendly establishment with a warm environment, ambient decor, and 100 per cent fresh home-cooked food.
She believes the movie-themed store is something people will really want, with sporadic movie screenings as a small intimate community cinema as well as coffee house and eatery.

Jessica Carol said: “We’re at a crucial stage in the funding department, which is why we have set up a Kickstarter campaign.
“Nothing is set in stone as of yet. I have interest in more than one commercial property, particularly a couple in Friargate which would be our ideal location.
“I will live, sleep and breathe the business and offer up my services to a number of other businesses because I believe starting out, that businesses should support each other.”

She has 27 days left of her campaign hopes to give people something a little different – ‘a little niche’ on an average day in the city centre.
