Emergency services were called after a collision in Warton this evening (Tuesday, February 28).

The incident occurred on Lytham Road at around 5.35pm and involved a red Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Vauxhall Corsa.

A section of the road had been closed and a diversion had been put on at the Freckleton roundabout. The road reopened at around 7.30pm.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, ended up on the road following the incident. The ambulance service attended the scene.

He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital with suspected shoulder and arm injuries.
