Man’s body found in the street during Preston rush hour

The body of a man was found near an office block in Preston on Thursday (2 February) morning.

Preston Police were called to the junction of Marsh Lane and West Strand shortly before 8am.

They found a man’s body close to Neptune House.

A spokesman for Preston Police said: “We were called following reports of a sudden death in Preston.

“The body of a man has been found close to a unit off West Strand.

“The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The death is currently not being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem will be carried out in due course.”
