This half term St George’s Shopping Centre, in the city centre, will be providing a variety of free events for the kids to get involved in.
AdvertisementA Preston based Scruff Kidz Entertainer, Sarah Lewis, will be returning to the shopping centre with an exciting display of balloon twisting.
Sarah will be twisting the balloons into different sizes, colours and shapes and will create sculptures such as balloon dogs, giraffes, swords and rabbits – all of which are free of charge.
There will be free children’s face painting available as well to keep the youngsters entertained with something fun, whilst St Georges offer a variety of activities every day.

The face painting and balloon twisting will be taking place from Monday 13 February – Saturday 18 February and they will start from 11am – 3pm each day.
Andrew Stringer, general manager of St George’s Shopping Centre, said: “Our face painter and Preston balloon twister Sarah Lewis proved really popular in the past and we’re pleased to welcome them back again to provide free fun activities during the February half term holiday which we hope younger shoppers will enjoy.”
The popular shopping centre, which is open seven days a week, is at the heart of Preston’s shopping with over 100 shops, and often hold activities to engage the kids with, especially at times such as school holidays.
